“The Hunt” from Goldsmith’s score to Planet of the Apes conveys the fear and panic of the situation in the film. Explain how this is achieved.”

To get full marks you should make 10 points WITH EXAMPLES (see here for a mark scheme).

Complete the Must section of the Van Morrison Learning Tasks

Composition

1. Finish adding transformations to your A3 motif sheet, including some which transform and vary the original motif quite strongly (e.g. By combining aspects such as inversion and fragmentation)
2. Write a monophonic piece based on the A3 motif sheet according to the following criteria:

It should be around a minute long
It must be based on transformations of your motif – which can be transposed to any pitch
It must have lots of articulation and dynamics to make it really bold
